Wouldn't count on that if I were you; not given the mess that successive govts have managed to make.
If nothing else,they've made it extremely difficult for any other govt to do anywhere near as much harm...

Could be made better, but bloody hell, we are richer, safer, and better served than those poor bastards in the US, or the Middle East at the moment. And no one is keeping us here, we are free to come and go.
