Cycle Computer App - driftwood - 02-01-2023 Can anyone recommend a free cycle computer app suitable for Samsung mobile. It will have to be very simple & run offline on GPS only. I need mainly speed & distance travelled. Not interested in heart rate, blood pressure or alcohol content. I have been looking at cycle computers online but can't find one suitable for my particular application. RE: Cycle Computer App - psycik - 02-01-2023 Strava, runkeeper (I think still exists). Are the making ones for exercise. Failing that there seems to be a bunch here depending what you want to do with it. https://www.guidingtech.com/gps-tracker-apps-android/ Record to View on pc etc RE: Cycle Computer App - Garysixtyseven - 06-01-2023 Strava is what I use, do not need a data connection or at least it works when I have no cell cover and then updates when I get back in range. It does only save to Strava in the cloud but you can download your data. RE: Cycle Computer App - driftwood - 06-01-2023 I had a look at several of the apps and didn't like any of them. Managed to find a cycle computer with a long enough cable to suit my needs. Just have to work out how to mount it now. RE: Cycle Computer App - R2x1 - 06-01-2023 Fine looking beast, especially if you can manage to put extra long cranks on. Recumbents rule! RE: Cycle Computer App - driftwood - 06-01-2023 I just changed to shorter ones. I was getting heel strike and I have short legs. I'm not a long stroker, I'm a high reving inch. |
