Explosions in Iran - nzoomed - 30-01-2023 Some news reports are saying it's a drone factory supplying russia with drones, but we don't really know, nor who attacked it. I doubt Ukraine is responsible but speculation is it was Israel. I think they had targeted something else in Iran last year. Its believed that the place contained artillery shells or other munitions nonetheless. https://www.kyivpost.com/post/11620 RE: Explosions in Iran - Lilith7 - 30-01-2023 (30-01-2023, 10:57 AM)nzoomed Wrote: Some news reports are saying it's a drone factory supplying russia with drones, but we don't really know, nor who attacked it. The last thing we want is world war bloody three fgs. What idiots we are, with our wars every few years. You'd think that after all these centuries, all this sending young men out to murder each other (& women too now) we might have learnt to find other ways. There was once a nuclear deal to limit nuclear work, but thanks to the idiot Trump, that was stopped. https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2023/1/29/iran-calls-drones-attack-on-its-defense-plant-cowardly "Israel is suspected of launching a series of attacks on Iran, including an April 2021 assault on its underground Natanz nuclear facility that damaged its centrifuges. In 2020, Iran blamed Israel for a sophisticated attack that killed its top nuclear scientist. Israeli officials rarely acknowledge operations carried out by the country’s secret military units or its Mossad intelligence agency. Talks between Iran and world powers to revive the 2015 nuclear deal have stalled since September. Under the pact, abandoned by Washington in 2018 under then-President Donald Trump, Tehran agreed to limit nuclear work in return for the easing of sanctions." RE: Explosions in Iran - nzoomed - 30-01-2023 The ironic thing is if Ukraine had kept their nukes, Russia would have probably left them alone. I think that's one reason why NATO and the US are supplying Ukraine weapons. The underlying problem that is causing all the others is over-population. However if this problem is neglected for too long then the problem takes care of itself, with wars and climate change to name two of the obvious results. RE: Explosions in Iran - zqwerty - 31-01-2023 Breeding thoughtlessly whilst believing that they are in God's/a superior entities hands is not a good start on a finite Earth. RE: Explosions in Iran - nzoomed - 31-01-2023 Looks like its official that Israel was behind the strikes. https://www.wsj.com/articles/israel-strikes-iran-amid-new-international-push-to-contain-tehran-11675004979?mod=e2tw RE: Explosions in Iran - Lilith7 - 31-01-2023 Indeed - far more education about overpopulation - & contraception - is sorely needed. Free contraceptives would also help. |
