Coromandel whingeing reaches new heights - Olive - 08-04-2023

A business owner quoted in Stuff: "We had to cancel my mother's 84th birthday party because people couldn't get to Whitianga"

Just do a quick slap dash typical Fulton Hogan repair...and it will be wiped out in the next storm.

We drove along Pakowhai Road to Hastings a week ago. A caravan entangled in a hedge, the nose of a car (in a terrible state) sticking out of a ditch. Houses red marked. Silent as a tomb and desolate. Brings a tear to one's eyes. Esk Valley is still shite as well.

I bet the people from here in Hawke's Bay are not worrying about Granny's effing 84th birthday.
