What the real news is to me was that power rangers is still a thing!
Let alone actually filming the show in NZ, had absolutely no idea!
Was all the rage around 1994 in NZ.

I've only just found out its a series of films or videos or whatever. I thought it was a sort of set of miniature figurines that kids played with and traded - I guess I'm just not a media follower, right out of it.

Makes me feel old, but as a kid growing up in the 90s, it was huge.
It was blamed for the cancellation of the Sonic the Hedgehog SatAM animated series, which was my favourite cartoon at the time.
Then I remember that due to public pressure, TVNZ scrapped the show due to parents concerns of violence, boy how times have changed.
