Monitor recommendations - Galaxy01 - 21-07-2023

Dell 27" 4K

Dell 27"

What you guys think of this monitor?

1.  Can Windows 11 handle 4k well enough?  Heard some one says that Windows 10 isn't good enough to handle 4K.

2.  Is my old vid card GTX 970 capable of handling 4k ?

3. Your recommendations for any other brand/ model  are welcome.

You views appreciated.

Cheers

to some extent it should be ok - there's an answer to that question here
https://www.quora.com/Can-I-watch-4k-60-FPS-movies-no-gaming-with-a-GTX-970

which basically says check the specs of the exact model of your card...

Have not heard anything about 10 or 11 being any better/worse at 4K, to me this sort of query is always about the graphics card, not the operating system.

Newer cards will likely have better encoder support for hevc h265 codecs, possibly others - older and entry level cards won't have that
