Small manual oil extractor pump - Galaxy01 - 08-08-2023 Looking for a small & affordable manual oil extractor pump for DIY mower oil change. Any suggestions? ![]() RE: Small manual oil extractor pump - Kenj - 08-08-2023 Doesn't it have a bung? As a thought, a turkey baster and a short bit of tubing? $10 at Briscoes. RE: Small manual oil extractor pump - R2x1 - 08-08-2023 Take out the oil filler cap / dipstick, tilt the mower over a suitable receptacle with the filler port at the lowest side. it's a lot cleaner and faster than pulling out the bung and dropping it in the old oil as we used to do. For noise abatement, replace the oil right away. A neighbour didn't and next weekend there sure was a lot of noise, some from the mower too. For 2 strokes, don't bother. ![]() |
