Unfortunately it's not without precedent these days, iirc rolling stones pulled the plug on performing one of their songs that is culturally inappropriate these days

Some of my favourite songs have controversial titles or lyrics, that's part of their attraction and original intent.
And before the PC brigade jump on this please consider that this was a pro-black protest song with a strong anti-racial message.
