11,000 unvaccinated doctors/health workers - C_T_Russell - 10-10-2023

OIA Request.
Yet many Frontline nurses lost their jobs.
Looks like many top dogs refused the vaccine and were granted exemption.
No doubt they knew better about the health effects and the ministry of health couldn't do without them, likely because we couldn't function without surgeons and doctors in the hospitals.
I'm surprised that the number was that high.
Says alot, and when NZ first get back in, there will be a huge can of worms opened.

oh i think that was probably to be expected, given the number of anti mandate/vaxxer/everything out there... The Government hands were tied, they had to issue the exemptions for these people. So be it.

11000 is a huge number, given it was highly educated health professionals who refused it says alot.

But were not just talking about highly educated health professionals though, it was available to anyone and any organisation on behalf of workers, in a mission critical roll that could not be replaced easily - presumably there were other criteria as well...

So not just health workers, and not just "highly educated health professionals"

11000 is a fraction of a percent of the population, so statistically pretty insignificant to the vaccine uptake requirements
