Power on switch sticking - Bryan - 07-11-2023 My main PC is in an Antec P280 case. This is a case I wish to keep. The Power On switch is sticking and causing annoyance. It is hard to get to and to try and remedy. If I was to reverse the connections between the Power On and the Reset connections to the motherboard, could that be a suitable work around? RE: Power on switch sticking - Wainuitech - 07-11-2023 Yep that would work good. Simply either disconnect the two sets of plugs and change over or leave the original (power button) disconnected, reason for this is if you swap them around and the button is sticking it could be giving the impression that the "reset" is being pushed and you could be a in a permanent reboot ![]() Basically they are only switches, only thing is usually the Reset is a smaller button. RE: Power on switch sticking - Bryan - 07-11-2023 Super, thanks WT. |
