Keeping this coalition from imploding for 3 years is a huge ask. What's the probability of them holding things together long enough to give Rimmer a turn at being 2IC?
Did anybody else note the dominance Seymour tried to exert by way of his extended spiel in his lectern presentation? At least Winston kept his speech shorter than Luxon's.

I doubt there's any surprises in store.
No worry, I went mad and bought a robot vacuum cleaner, that is more entertaining than the political scenery at present as it goes about its duties.

Agreed, I couldn't have wished for better, this has to be the best possible outcome we could have ever expected on so many levels.
Winston, Seymour and luxon all have a few good things to offer to the table and I think this is the first time we will see MMP work like it should.
Lots of happy callers on the talk back today, including farmers.

They clearly lack restraint. They moved immediatey to beneficiary bashing/threatening, probably as a sop to their wealthier supporters. That's more usually not brought out till into the first year.
