Black Friday - harm_less - 24-11-2023 Today is the day that the coalition circus comes to town. Will it give us a deal too good to ignore? RE: Black Friday - Oh_hunnihunni - 24-11-2023 I am very tempted by the Warehouse 50 veon tv for $500 odd. Pity I spent all my loot on groceries, lol. Just think, Winston in 4G... RE: Black Friday - Wainuiguy - 24-11-2023 It has already produced the ultimate fantastic deal. Labour and is band of misfit incompetents relegated to the opposition benched for another 6 to 9 years. Result! RE: Black Friday - Oh_hunnihunni - 24-11-2023 We have an inexperienced government led by a first time MP and an ancient sly fox, and an opposition group with so much in common - oh boy, we better boost the popcorn supplies... RE: Black Friday - harm_less - 24-11-2023 Keeping this coalition from imploding for 3 years is a huge ask. What's the probability of them holding things together long enough to give Rimmer a turn at being 2IC? Did anybody else note the dominance Seymour tried to exert by way of his extended spiel in his lectern presentation? At least Winston kept his speech shorter than Luxon's. Eventually... ![]() And in the meantime Winston is cha cha-ing rings around the pair of them... ![]() ![]() RE: Black Friday - Wainuiguy - 24-11-2023 But in the end - Labour are gone. And gone for a good period. The greens and TPM along with them. Huzzah! RE: Black Friday - harm_less - 24-11-2023 (24-11-2023, 11:33 AM)Wainuiguy Wrote: But in the end - Labour are gone. Luxon doesn't have a shit's show keeping those cats herded. How long before Labour, the Greens and TPM are on the opposition benches, being amused by the clownshow trying to run the country, is far from certain but "a long period" seems far from being a certainty. Winnie at least managed to prevent the wealthy foreign buyers from possibly buying loads of property & stopped any rise to eligibility for the pension, but its definitley likely to be extremely interesting with these three... ![]() RE: Black Friday - king1 - 24-11-2023 i'd guess not much will get done in this term, as soon as push comes to shove someone will pull back from the agreement in favour of their own agenda - and Mr Luxon will possibly continue on in the caretaker role... RE: Black Friday - R2x1 - 24-11-2023 When the financiers of the troika's campaign ride their lobby-horses in to town, the Sheriff is likely to be too busy dealing with domestic discord to pay any attention to the disturbances in the streets. I doubt there's any surprises in store. No worry, I went mad and bought a robot vacuum cleaner, that is more entertaining than the political scenery at present as it goes about its duties. ![]() RE: Black Friday - harm_less - 24-11-2023 (24-11-2023, 04:31 PM)R2x1 Wrote: When the financiers of the troika's campaign ride their lobby-horses in to town, the Sheriff is likely to be too busy dealing with domestic discord to pay any attention to the disturbances in the streets.Got pets? Agreed, I couldn't have wished for better, this has to be the best possible outcome we could have ever expected on so many levels. Winston, Seymour and luxon all have a few good things to offer to the table and I think this is the first time we will see MMP work like it should. Lots of happy callers on the talk back today, including farmers. RE: Black Friday - Kenj - 24-11-2023 Sky Sport Now had a deal on a 12 month subs. A year ago it was $399, then went up to $449 mid year. Special Black Friday price $299. $25/month is a pretty good price! RE: Black Friday - Zurdo - 24-11-2023 How can the 24th be black friday ? Two puppet masters, and one puppet. The puppet will also have a nose that grows, from lying about what his puppet masters are doing. Like this lot could ever credit anyone other than their Tory mates! ![]() ![]() They clearly lack restraint. They moved immediatey to beneficiary bashing/threatening, probably as a sop to their wealthier supporters. That's more usually not brought out till into the first year. Oh how wonderful! But won't it get bored in that limited space? Or are you planning modifications so it does indoors and out? And of course, given a whirly thing on top it could do windows as well...
