I've read a good deal of sci fi & some of it was set in times when robots did all the work, & one where robots were in charge of the legal system; which worked well until a human worked out how to control a robot in charge. If we weren't such idiots, this could work extremely well, with all humans being able to live well, with everyone having a high standard of living including access to education for their entire lives, being able to develop their creativity to a hgh degree. But alas, we are indeed idiots, & so we'll almost certainly misuse this situation somehow, probably cause chaos & mayhem & then have to work out a way to fix our stuff up. And in the worst case, we'll probably start a war using the new technology & robots to do our fighting for us, & quite possibly become extinct as a result... |
