Cell phone WiFi - brucem - 08-09-2024
I have recently bought a Moto G04 smart phone to replace my stolen dumb phone ( a Nokia 3310). I have it connected to our Fritzbox router. I now have my wife's phone book on my phone. Some of the people I don't even know. I would like to delete those that I don't want, but can I do this without deleting them from my wife's phone ( a move that could be fatal!)? How do I do this?

you may have setup your phone using your wifes google account, would explain why you see her contacts.
Likelihood is yes it will delete from her contacts as the contacts sync across the google account
What you probably want to do is create your own google account, add that to the phone then remove your wifes google account. Some instructions for doing that are here albeit looks to be for an older version of android
