think they are treated unfairly, think we should appreciate their efforts, think we should acclaim them.

Yeah..they're lovely people really, who just happen to have too much money.  Rolleyes

There isn't anything good about greed; particularly when some are extremely wealthy at the expense of many others. If we keep going down this road then we'll likely end up with a type of feudalism ( already, healthcare is mostly available to those able to afford private healthcare, which means those who are on a low income will therefore suffer more than those who are well off) & perhaps even eventually, a revolution.

When even wealthy people ask their govt to tax them more, its clear that something is badly wrong. We need to fix the system.

I worked for a millionaire, decades ago. He wasn't a millionaire when I first knew him, but made his pile with an investment in a software product which was bought by a big American corporation. He was a good guy.

And that's the thing; millionaires aren't all absolute bastards by any means, some of them retain their humanity & some also tend to do some good with their wealth.

Hmmm, very few and generally when they get older and are trying to make up for whatever and buy back their soul, so to speak.

Good example Bill Gates, who has actually done so much for the world just by causing the personal computer to be so ubiquitous.
