Kiwi terms added to Oxford dictionary - Lilith7 - 19-09-2024
Maori & Kiwi words have been added to the latest Oxford dictionary. They include 'waka jumper', 'mahi' & 'chilly bin.'

Waka jumper? Lol I love their sense of humor.
I didn't think it's typical for a phrase to be added to a dictionary is it?

I wondered about that, but perhaps it is. That, or they've created a precedent with it.
