most of those were pretty ick - the only one I didn't mind was the Plum and Grape

It's Pantone so you'll probably see those colours a lot more this year.

I'd go for the greens. I've always liked the dull jade green that English stately homes tend to have in the galleries. Many years ago we had jade green carpet throughout our house and it made our rather ordinary furniture look more distinguished.

I mixed up a pale caramel colour once and did the master bedroom in that, with rich wine coloured curtains. It was a gorgeous room to sleep in, very calming. I have used a deep jade too on a bedroom, one my mother slept in for three years, and she loved it too. Her mid century mahogany furniture looked wonderful against those walls. Sometimes you can take risks in a bedroom that you might not try in a more public space.

Actually the more I look at those colour schemes, the more I like them. My place is so boring, pastel colours, came with the place from 10 years ago when I moved in.

There's only one colour I absolutely loathe, & it's grey! Awful dreary, depressing,characterless colour which imo should be banned. Mind you, that could be due to an absolute hideous school uniform which was mainly grey.
I sometimes watch those Location,location,location things & lately every damn house interior is regulation boring pale grey. Mum used to call it 'battleship grey' which was probably a generational thing.
I had a graphic design tutor years ago who maintained that grey is the colour of deception & he was a bit peturbed when one or two banks started using it.
I love colour; Best house in the street last night used lots of colour & it looked brilliant.
I really only understood how important colour is for me when the pandemic hit & I had to shop online; often I had no clue as to the name of a product, but I knew what colours were used on the packaging!
