Startup Apps - driftwood - 08-12-2024 In Windows 11 startup apps there are 10 disabled items. How can they be removed from the list. RE: Startup Apps - king1 - 08-12-2024 uninstall the program as you would normally, then the uninstall process will remove the startup app entry If it is a program you would still want installed then you would need to remove the startup entry in the registry, usually stored in either of HKLM\Software\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run Details here https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/configure-startup-applications-in-windows-115a420a-0bff-4a6f-90e0-1934c844e473# RE: Startup Apps - driftwood - 08-12-2024 Thanks, I was able to get rid of most of them using that link. |
