Grabone microsoft office deal, too good to be true? - nzoomed - 10-12-2024 I have had a number of people ask me today about the offer on grabone for MS office professional, it seems ridiculously cheap to me, and appears they have done this before on there with mixed experiences going by what im reading and some have had issues activating. I suspect they are on selling volume licence keys or something to that effect? RE: Grabone microsoft office deal, too good to be true? - king1 - 10-12-2024 sounds dodgy, an overseas training website selling coupons that you redeem online to purchase office RE: Grabone microsoft office deal, too good to be true? - nzoomed - 10-12-2024 Yeah, it's the same crowd who had the deal there about 3 years back. I'm amazed how these slip through on there, apparently it got taken down last time. I've just told everyone to avoid it. RE: Grabone microsoft office deal, too good to be true? - Agent_24 - 15-12-2024 Why bother? I suspect most home users would find a free alternative like LibreOffice to be quite sufficient. I install libreoffice on many peoples computers, however there is always a certain number stuck on their old ways and dont want to "change" In one case all I had to do was rename the libreoffice icons to word and excel and it was enough to get them to switch lol RE: Grabone microsoft office deal, too good to be true? - Agent_24 - 19-12-2024 (19-12-2024, 10:43 AM)nzoomed Wrote:(15-12-2024, 03:19 PM)Agent_24 Wrote: Why bother? Stupid how big corporations can buy them for next to nothing in bulk, but the average consumer has to pay through the roof. When I had to buy Genuine Vol licenses , they werent discounted in any significant way. I know some of these cheap lic keys being sold , are from other countries where the pricing will be quite different to NZ . Ive had re-activation refused for one of those cheap Office Keys . MS said the key wasnt from NZ so wouldnt re-activate it . |
