I still managed a little savings account, paid my bills on time, kept the roof over my head and frittered a bit away on fun stuff. But I guess that is the beauty of a guaranteed liveable income, affordable rent in a small but well maintained home, and subsidised medical care in an almost free health system. I wish everyone had those real luxuries.
