And the US really does need to think where they're going to get a few things if not from Canada:
Timber, to rebuild from the LA fires.
Heavy crude oil, which its refineries need because they're not able to process US's light crude oil.
Electricity, because Canada supplies a lot of their hydro generation over the border.
And on a personal note I've decided to source herbs and health supplement from somewhere other than iHerb rather to avoid supporting Trump's America.

We have to remember though that increasingly Americans and their businesses are going to suffer under this oligarchy. And many of them didn't vote for this, do not want this, and have no way to stop it.
It is a tragedy in real time, real life. I am so sad for my many many American friends, lots of whom have dropped off the net in genuine concern about the future.

Surely there must come a point at which the tangerine nightmare goes well over the top- & one of his minders steps in & orders a pysch evalution; he just seems incapable of comprehending the likely outcome of some of his actions. And that's likely to cause huge problems for ordinary Americans if he isn't stopped, sooner rather than later.
That would be preferable surely, to allowing him to continue on his merry way causing chaos for many Americans. Mainly those too poor to escape.

And yet the street protests are happening, all over the States. It is just that mainstream media doesn't seem inclined to report on them. And if they are too wary of reporting, of challenging, then no wonder this leadership feels invulnerable. After all, media are one of the primary guardrails on political actors, even perhaps, ahead of the courts.
But hey, it is all outlined in Project 2025, there for anyone to read and understand.

This does not make for comfortable reading. The piece by Senator Patty Murray on this Trump crony, Russell Vought is especially alarming. If carried out then surely those cuts could, in a worst case scenario, cause starvation on a large scale.

Apparently Mexico and Canada were already reinforcing borders under agreement with the Biden Government. Trump is just be manipulated and pacified like the impetuous 5 year old he is...
