Hopefully the last flail of the dinosaur members of our society before they expire but I think a new generation coming along has been indoctrinated with all their venom in the meantime, I still remember the 50's quite well.

If we don't make changes then I hate to think of what sort of world our descendants may live in.

I think it's normal that there are plenty of humans who are quite happy to take more than their fair share without any remorse at all.
Depending on biases within the society at various times these people feel more or less shame at any time.
Strong laws need to be implemented to punish those like Trump for instance who feel that the law doesn't apply to everyone irrespective of who they are, or who they think they are.
