4K Video Downloader - Galaxy01 - 04-04-2025
The good old 4K video downloader doesn't seem to work anymore.
What's the best video downloading app for use with Youtube; mainly for music/songs.

Quite a few negative reviews and it seems it's not working anymore!

Admittedly I haven't used it for a month or two but I've used it for years. However it last updated 3rd May and seems to be not working, so, sorry for the bad info.
It's a constant battle against google to keep this sort of addon working.

Dont know if this still works, but was free on Winningpc as a giveaway. Works great, with so many options on how to download anything from YouTube. Music Video what ever. You can have a video playing but only download its Audio ( as an example)

There's a new version of 4K video downloader but you will have to pay for it again. My old one still works fine but I had to upgrade my wife's version.

my old version is 4.33.5.0172
Given that it needed updating frequently to keep working with youtubes frequent changes, I would say it won't be long before it stops altogether
Since you've used 4K before i would just swap over to the new 4K Video Downloader+ as long as the daily limit of 10 works for you...
