Extreme rightwing christian views, America. - Lilith7 - 09-04-2025

Whacko nutter fruit loop views strongly suggest that their sanity might be in question.

One wants the death penalty for false sexual assaults reports. he claims that "Metoo would end 'real' fast."  No quote on his views on any penalties for rape, but it seems unlikely he'd be in favour of the death penalty for that. The same idiot doesn't believe women ought to be able to vote.

And,according to this pastor, 'Gay beam machines' can 'turn people gay'. Rolleyes Big Grin Big Grin

It says right there in your linked article that he believes that people who falsely accuse others of a crime should be subject to the same punishment as for the crime they've falsely accused someone of. Therefore, he obviously does in fact think that rapists should also be executed.

I don't think execution is a punishment I really want governments to have, so I'm generally against capital punishment. However, I do think he's on to something with regard to a false accusation carrying the same level of punishment as the crime they falsely accuse someone of.

Nah treat them for what they are, wasting police time and resources...
It would seem manifestly unfair for a false accusation of murder for example to get 20 years to life...

But the victims of the false accusation will probably have a right of redress through the civil courts

These are not Christians. They are something else entirely.

We would need an infallible justice system to achieve that. And I doubt such a thing can ever exist if it involves human beings.

The 'gay beam' pastor sees Christian Nationalism as a positive force, while his co host also thinks that America should be ruled by a 'Protestant Franco" & they've bought up several acres around Moscow, Tennessee intending to turn it into a 'church town' & believe that civil rights 'ruined everything.'

True. Although some countries have a better system than others, & it might help if other countries learned from their results. But alas - we're human. Rolleyes Big Grin
