Group Policy Editor - Bryan - 10-05-2025 In Windows 11 update, under Advanced Options, "receive updates for other MS products" is greyed out. I have tried to follow the gpedit.msc instructions but I'm confused. Can someone advise how I can turn this option on please? RE: Group Policy Editor - king1 - 10-05-2025 if its your own personal machine and not a work device, you may have better luck with this option - it resets all Local Group Policy Settings to Default https://www.elevenforum.com/t/reset-all-local-group-policy-settings-to-default-in-windows-11.21587/ Haven't tried it personally but it looks ok RE: Group Policy Editor - Bryan - 10-05-2025 Thanks for that but it doesn't work for me. I will leave it for now, thanks again. RE: Group Policy Editor - Bryan - 10-05-2025 King1, I tried again and got it right this time, thanks. RE: Group Policy Editor - Wainuitech - 10-05-2025 Is gpedit actually installed ?? By default, its NOT installed in Windows home editions, you have to install it if you have HOME. A Batch file and instructions HERE RE: Group Policy Editor - Bryan - 10-05-2025 I have Pro on this machine and it does have gpedit, thanks. |
