Group Policy Editor - Bryan - 10-05-2025

In Windows 11 update, under Advanced Options, "receive updates for other MS products" is greyed out. I have tried to follow the gpedit.msc instructions but I'm confused. Can someone advise how I can turn this option on please?

if its your own personal machine and not a work device, you may have better luck with this option - it resets all Local Group Policy Settings to Default

Haven't tried it personally but it looks ok

Thanks for that but it doesn't work for me. I will leave it for now, thanks again.

Is gpedit actually installed ?? By default, its NOT installed in Windows home editions, you have to install it if you have HOME.

A Batch file and instructions   HERE
