I am here in Chch for more than 50 years, far away from America and even I know that the Southern parts of America rely on illegal workers from over the borders from Mexico for all the shitty jobs that are vital to their economy and White Americans don't want to do those jobs for years and years may be even a century.

What on earth is Trump up to? I'll tell you, his appreciation of history is almost nil and his whole life was spent in New York city in a rarefied atmosphere so to speak. He really knows very little, ignorant in fact, only knows how to wheel and deal and rip off, the worst possible candidate for a President.

He doesn't seem able to comprehend the consequences of his actions; some of his comments give the impression that he' s just not right in the head.
Surely at some point his party will require him to stand down; & the Vance creature while they're at it.

Yes here is a quote from a message board

"The world is learning fast:

don't study in the US
avoid even travelling to the US
don't rely on US products in your supply chain if you can avoid it
don't invest in the heavily manipulated US stock market
sell US bonds, and remove reliance on the US dollar
don't rely on the US being an ally
don't trust the US to respect trade agreements or any commitments to treaties

These lessons the world is learning will last far longer than Trump's presidential term."

Yep, they certainlly will outlast his nibs, & the American people will probably suffer because of it.

Surely even his supporters can see now that he's incompetent.

Got proof that a supposed gas shortage is caused by the exploration ban?

New Zealand has a rapidly declining reserve of natural gas but this is largely because the big finds of past decades which include the Kapuni and Maui fields are now running out and for the past 20 years or so the economics of exploring, drilling and infrastructure development has largely collapsed, together with a world that is increasingly recognising the limited future of fossil fuel use.

The offshore oil and gas ban had minimal impact on new developments because the decline in these was already well underway when it was implemented. Prospecting licence tenders were going un-bidded on as international oil and gas companies turned their backs on the high economic risks of such activities in our comparatively remote part of the world, for product that is has declining demand and price, and in a region that is renowned for small unreliable geological hydrocarbon reservoirs.
