Here, try this, it,s a pretty accurate account of the conflict. Note the imbalance in casualty numbers. Also note the way this is not a anti semitic conflict, both sides being semitic peoples. It is however about Zionism. Which, interestingly enough has several parallels with both fascism and Nazi ideologies.

The personal has always placed a layer on history. Netanyahu is building an empire to protect himself. Like Trump. And as we have seen in just past days, that kind of brotherhood is fraught with conflict.

Nations benefit, economies are boosted by a nice little war. That is why America entered WW2, they just needed the political excuse to sway public opinion.
Just as they are today, with immigrants and sponsored violence in LA as the excuse to bring out the military. All the while sponsoring the genocide in Gaza and in the Ukraine. The war materials industry underpins most empire building, though it does help to have a bit of insanity in the leadership.

You have to wonder just how much longer Netanyahu can continue to get away with what is increasingly starting to look very like attempted genocide. Yet he continues to ignore the protests both within Israel & around the world.
