tax cuts for wealthy lol

all i heard from the plebs was we wanted bigger cuts

RE: Why Adrian Orr stepped down - Lilith7 - 12-06-2025

What this govt is doing is broadly speaking, enriching the already wealthy by further impoverishing those already struggling, thanks to the 40 odd years of greed based Neo Liberalism. They are a ruthless, pitiless group of conscience free evil bastards. To be as polite as is possible.

They cut public service spending, kicked women in the teeth with halting all pay equity claims & the tax cuts for landlords is estimated to cost us $2.9 billion.

cut out of control public spending

pay equity claims can still go ahead but you already know that

tax cuts for landlords was allowing a legitimate business to deduct a business expense just like all the other businesses

you do need to keep up dear, perhaps have a cup of tea and a lie down

RE: Why Adrian Orr stepped down - Oh_hunnihunni - 12-06-2025

Those pay equity claims are hamstrung, as you know, by the changes that make comparisons - upon which equity demonstrations rely - very difficult to make. Clever, but not exactly fair.

Charges of out of control public spending - a phrase without any real back up - can be leveled at any regime. Especially if it is made without regard to the downstream effect of cuts made purportedly to rein in such spending.

Tax cuts for landlords was a sop to a group who lobbied hard, and one to which a majority of Nat MPs actually belong. And, far as I know, legitimate businesses have taxes applied legitimately, maybe you could offer a comparable group of businesses that received the same tax cuts - hoteliers for example? And no, they didn't...

Next?

Definitely the one who knocks...

RE: Why Adrian Orr stepped down - heisenberg - 12-06-2025

A majority of all mps will own rentals

lets compare cleaners with teachers

the new ferries ..many millions over the initial costings mainly because of the retards who ordered them ...they dont fekin fit...i know lets just keep pouring taxpayer dollars into the bottomless pit

RE: Why Adrian Orr stepped down - Oh_hunnihunni - 12-06-2025

Most Greens and TPM MPs do not own rental property. In fact, I don't know if any of them do. The current lot anyway...

I doubt many cleaners have post graduate degrees. Most teachers do.

As for ferries... well, the new ones are all down to this lot. And no doubt will provide heaps of political taunting fodder for the new government.

Still knocking, is that your knees?

look who’s running the partly maoris

multi millionaire jt

He’s going to have rentals

thinking the greentards can run the country because they don’t have rentals is delusional thinking

RE: Why Adrian Orr stepped down - Oh_hunnihunni - 13-06-2025

Well it would be if that was what I thought. Speaking of delusions...

RE: Why Adrian Orr stepped down - Lilith7 - 13-06-2025

Pay equity will not be permitted to go ahead by this govt. These are not people who care about the well being of anyone other than themselves & other wealthy people. You know, the ones who 'donate' to their parties, the ones who vote for them.
Time we ended all donations to all political parties. Let them hold cake stalls if they're short of a bob or two....

Bryan Bruce interviewed Dr Ganesh Nana, an economist. Who makes excellent sense. And apparently also a heretic since he mentioned the 'social contract'...
