Thanks for posting those links. OF was one of our favourite TV shows of all times (and Westside), for all the reasons described in those articles, despite only discovering it a season or so in.

I watched every episode of Outrageous Fortune without fail because a good friend was involved with the scripting. I recall that it was quite patchy, with some dreadful acting, but overall it had great verve and confidence and was like nothing else ever written in Aotearoa. My favourite character was Munter.

Agreed. While it was a bit patchy here & there overall it was well done; Munter & Ted West especially.
And Robyn Malcolm did it so well that I think no one else could ever play the part of Sheryl West.
