For starters, I certainly wouldn't refer to such people as 'elites'.
Leeches is closer to the mark.

J D Vance is a repellent person.

If Thiel genuinely thinks that people 'have been transformed into a more docile kind of species' then he clearly knows not a damned thing about the massive protests which went on here when there was a chance that this disgraceful govt might try to change the treaty.


The idea of a 'super data base to track migrants in real time' is alarming,given what's happening in America now.
He seems a fairly devious & ruthless sort of person; perhaps his citizenship should be revoked. NOW'S goos.

The idea of a citizen's jury is interesting & makes good  sense but that makes it unlikely to happen. I'm not convinced that our species invariably opts for what makes sense, despite it being in the best interests of most of us.
