In my view, the outcome from work done for oneself is the payment. But if you're in a marriage and your partner is lazy and contributes nothing, while you do everything, I can see why someone may deserve monetary recompense for such work. But ovens, especially cheap thin skinned busted thermostat beasts, they are inventions of the devil. And supplied by the meanest of landlords. So they get zero respect seeing as soon as a third element goes I know they'll simply swap it out for another one, and we start all over again...
