Woohoo 13. Now time for coffee and Wordle

I cannot for the life of me work out what this wordle thing is all about. For someone who has an excess of ego regarding her vocab it is a sobering business, so I just pretend I have never heard of it...

Not that I do Quizes but got a 10 ... that will do me for a month.

I find Wordle both annoying and addictive, and I don't always get it done (but sometimes get it in two).   It's not so much about vocab as about verbal flexibility; the two talents don't necessarily go together (I have the first but not the second) and I think it's a useful little brain game once a day.
Give it a try.

Wordle is an embedded part of my breakfast routine, with coffee in hand. I do both the original and https://www.wordhurdle.in/ (previously Wordle2) which has 6 letter words. Interestingly the 6 letter one I usually solve in less attempts as it seems my brain works better on 6 letter words. Wordle2 also renews at midday so good for an afternoon fix as well.

Nope. I won't. Stamping foot here. Silly game. Can't do it. Won't.

Muttermuttermutter...

I just tried word hurdle - found it really hard - my brain is totally attuned to five letter words now.

Out of curiosity are a fan of Sudoku? Similar process of elimination as for Wordle but without the vocab requirements.

RE: Quiz: Morning trivia challenges. - Olive - 26-04-2022

I spent a few weeks solving Sudoku, all the time wondering if there was something I was missing as it was so laborious. Evidently not, and I've not been tempted again, it seemed pointless. I know that some people find Sudoku compulsive: I had a secretary years ago who was so enthralled by Sudoku puzzles that she would neglect her work to solve them.

I think it's one of those foreign scams, it just has lots of people hoodwinked! Like sudoku.

Mass delusion...

7 again today.

Sudoku is numbers - I don't do numbers. I'll stick to the crossword.
