Print servers

Have changed our internet provider as we need internet on the road when travelling in our caravan.

The Huawei B818-263 modem supplied which we have to use to get the service we need doesn't support print server like our old 2 degrees one did. So when at home we cannot connect the printer for all devices any more.

What would be a budget device we can attach to the modem to get this back? Our printer does not support wireless printing its too old but works fine so not changing it. I'm guessing we need to bridge something to the modem but have no idea what. Budget is tight for this. Thanks

or, my personal preference would be just buy a new printer
or, go back to 2 degrees
or, you *may* be able to piggyback the old 2degrees modem into the new modem, such that the new one provides internet to the old one, and then devices just connect to the old 2degrees modem as you always have. This may or may not work, depends on the configuration of the respective modems...

The least headache answer is buy a new printer

Thanks for that had not seen those before will be perfect. Not replacing a working good printer as we don't believe in dumping stuff that still works. That's the biggest problem with today's throw away society.

totally agree, but also keep in mind that some of those print servers are half the cost of a new albeit budget printer... and old printers don't last forever.  I had an appointment yesterday where the brother printer wasn't printing, error code on screen which pointed to a motor/mechanism failure...
