Any developers here?

I've got a project I'm working on that uses a Teltonika 4G router on solar power.
These units seem pretty powerful and can run scripts and have analog inputs and outputs.
I was going to use an arduino, but if I can get the router to run a script for me it will make the whole unit less complex.
I basically want it to activate a relay when the battery drops to a preset level, it seems this should be possible.
An added bonus would be a way to monitor the battery voltage remotely, might be able to do this through the web browser, but it might be possible to run something using ssh or telnet?
