WIN 11 24Hs problem
#1
I have two PCs. I have just upgraded both to 24H2. My Gigabyte B460M just updated the Cumulative .NET Framework with KB5044033 and the Win 11 update with KB504285. Both worked as expected.
This is a query I have just posted on 'elevenforum' and pose it here for your consideration.

But, my main PC Asus Z490Z used KB5044030 and KB5044284. The upgrades both failed when at 40% and reverted back. What do I do now? Is it just a case for MS to replace these two upgrades? Any idea why the two different programs for two different motherboards? Both of these updates are now sitting waiting to be installed (yet again!).

There are several videos/instructions about suggesting how to fix, here's one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TKsBgDkhyOo

Just looked on a computer in the workshop that I did a fresh install of 24H2 ( non compliant hardware) and both those updates went in without problems.

The main computers I use ( work and lounge) can wait a few weeks for some bugs to be sorted. Microsoft does say that if your computer has known problems with some of the new features or updates, it won't be offered via Windows update until those problems are resolved. These are usually Driver or installed software problems.
Upgrades = Old bugs replaced with new Bugs.

Hello Swivel. Yes, thanks for the tip but I do have the latest BIOS.

Seems like many have my problem so I shall wait awhile.
