#1
Guess its on the home users that are being offered, It's strange no mention of Professional, only Enterprise.

From memory they did the same with XP.

Just what updates are we talking about?

Will it be the same as Win7  where I am still receiving some updates even now?

More than likely the same. There may not be any new features, but right at the moment, Browser updates are included in W10 & same in W11.

still, some people are quite happy with W7, but of course, they need newer Browsers. And Some software ( like Antivirus) no longer works on W7, so eventually, it will go the same for W10. ( but will be several years off yet)

Most ( but not all) computers can have windows 11  force installed by bypassing the security requirements, BUT -- all it takes is one update to W11 that requires the hardware security and bingo - The system refuses to boot ( had it happen).

MS should be able to detect the absence of TPM, secure boot etc - arguable MS could be seen to be knowingly breaking systems if they do that...
This world would be a perfect place if it wasn't for the people.
