Sorry I have not been about. Have had a bad bout of Vertigo for over a year now.
Wifey's Hotmail Inbox is now showing Name on one line then the full details on the 2nd line.
She is using Temu and Pintrist sites and gets up to 120 of them, so that's 240 entries/lines used..

Assuming its Thunderbird ( dont know the latest layout, refuse to use it)

One way to tell if its Thunderbird ( assuming you are using it) go to outlook.com, sign in to the mail see if they are duplicated there. if not then its the email program.
Another cause can be if you have the account twice, check accounts to make sure it's only there once.
Upgrades = Old bugs replaced with new Bugs.

you've got it sorted by the From column which will be grouping them together - change it to sort by Received, by clicking on Received at the top of the column

Fixed with a fluke.
Moved the cursor across the heading:
INBOX SELECT FILTER BY DATE
