Israel's Gaza aid blockade contested in world court
#1
U.N. & Palestinian representatives have accused Israel of breaking international law by refusing to let aid into Gaza, having cut all supplies since the second of March.

That situation is broadcast on a daily basis on Al Jazerra news. Genocide pure and simple by an ethnic group that should be well aware of that strategy as they had it focussed on them by Nazi Germany.

Remember what Golda Meir said years ago, "we can forgive them for killing our children what we cannot forgive is forcing us to kill theirs"
It's not the least charm of a theory that it is refutable. The hundred-times-refuted theory of "free will" owes its persistence to this charm alone; some one is always appearing who feels himself strong enough to refute it - Friedrich Nietzsche

And Israel's genocidal actions against the Palestinians will ensure hatred and murderous intent is baked into the survivors of their barrages.

Remember the Palestinians started it this time (October 7, 2023), but it's baked into their DNA, the Palestinians will never allow the Israelis to live in and on their land and likewise with the Israelis. A problem without solution.

The Middle East is a can of worms and anyone who looks into it realizes that there is no solution except the elimination of one side by the other and that is what is going on now.

The Israelis are just a bad as the Palestinians and vice versa, so the strongest militarily (American Jewish backup) with the most resolve will win and that means the Israelis.

There is a solution. The two state solution. And yes Hamas was responsible for the terrorist attack, and anyone knowing the history of this conflict understands why that happened.

But this current court action is a waste of effort, more evidence we are in the age of impunity. Netanyahu has one intention and only one, to remove Palestine from the face of the earth, and make Israel the supreme power in the Middle East. Between him and Trump, that will probably happen.

The two state solution is the problem, since Britain set up Israel at the end of the 2nd WW they have been skirmishing ever since.

Should have probably set them up somewhere else but since the traditional Jewish Promised Land was the homeland that many Jews wanted that where it was established.

Well, Australia was one suggestion at the time.

The two state solution is really the only realistic way to end this hideous conflict. Who'd ever have thought that people who have themselves been so persecuted could later persecute others.

I think our species has a great deal still to learn...

Lots of dummies and short term memories rather than long term ones coupled with an inability to understand the causes and effects in the overall circumstances in the first place probably lead to what you are talking about Lilith7.

The normal distribution curve plus the genetic defect bulge at the beginning of the curve for human abilities gives some idea of why there is a persistence in lack of ability to cope with the trials of life as a group and as a rule since the beginning of time. LOL.

The genetic defect bulge is not shown in these diagrams but it is at the start of the curve where quite a number of people fall short at the first hurdle so to speak, probably 5% to 10%.

You and I see what is going on and could explain it to all and sundry but most won't listen to us and especially these two particularly obstreperous groups not known for their peaceful existence so far. Having a continuous battle in your local communities allows one to escape (shy away from) from seeing a big picture of overall reality in fact gives the ability to runaway from such realizations, see our local gang warfare which has been going on forever and exists all over the world. Some people don't have the ability to take in the full picture and feel comfortable with the unpalatable facts of existence.

The belief of being made by an omnipotent, meaning all-powerful; omniscient, meaning all-knowing; and omnipresent, meaning present everywhere at all times is quite an arrogant belief which often has the opposite effect of what was intended by that beings son, LOL. Or you can be part of a closely knit tribe all with the same simple belief and face the world aggressively with your fellow warriors.

You can see how all of these factors coupled together with the Israelis being Jewish faith and the Palestinians being Islam faith could lead to problems.

That reminds me of a quote from an Austraian book several decades ago - 'They're a weird mob'... Rolleyes Big Grin

We're a very strange species; I think everyone should be able to believe whatever religion/belief system they prefer, as long as they're not harming anyone.
The old Wiccan rule was 'And it harm none, do what ye will' which could perhaps work quite well - if we could manage it.
Alas, we can't seem to.  Still, I suppose we're all learning, if nothing else...
