It's not the least charm of a theory that it is refutable. The hundred-times-refuted theory of "free will" owes its persistence to this charm alone; some one is always appearing who feels himself strong enough to refute it - Friedrich Nietzsche

Surely, the time is fast approaching when Trump's own party will admit the man's an incompetent fool, oblige him to step down, & replace him. Preferably with a sane person.

I wonder what circumstances might mean a snap election over there...

Stupid boy!

Empathy is a strength. You really have to wonder how some people have sufficient intelligence to function.... Dodgy

I'm hoping he stays around, his incompetence is a self-moderating influence.

The last thing we need is the republicans to replace him with a competent fascist.

I think I agree with the forecasters who think this is part of the decline of the American empire. All he is doing is strengthening the Brics countries, China is already a bigger economy and a stronger force in the wider world community. Their military build up is challenging the US position and their positioning alongside Russia and North Korea means any attempt to protect Taiwan or South Korea is really a foregone conclusion. The America first policy means America alone, and it may well be too late to recover from that international shift. Who would trust America again after the last few months?

It is sad really, most Americans do not deserve the future they are being served up. But the reality is, that future really is up to them, because while they pay lip service to having three branches of government, none of them seem capable of reining this insanity in.

Trump is good at approaching systems, analyzing them and finding weaknesses which he then exploits which I suppose is what aggressive businessmen do.

However running a country is entirely different, complex interwoven systems need to be analyzed, understood and then nurtured to benefit the country and the people within it. Trump doesn't really care about that except in a perfunctory way.

Our government could do with upping it's performance in that area as well.

Its also sad, when ypu look back at what America once was. I suppose that if this continues it may eventually break up into various areas rather than remain a country of united states.

The American people have the power to change their own leadership. They just need to come together to do it.

There's a lot of people in America who support Trumps Populist, simplistic way of seeing things because they to are of that ilk.

Common sense is to be used to solve problem and past prejudices, no woke, no D.E.I. (Diversity, equity, and inclusion), unfortunately lots of them are Evangelical Christians from the Southern States of America.

I'm not that hopeful that there is a majority against Trump, but when their bank accounts and businesses start falling and failing there will be lots more anti-Trump feeling due to his incompetence at almost anything other than grifting (getting money by cheating someone) which anyone who could read or who has paid the most moderate attention to American history and current affairs in the last 50 years would already know. Unfortunately there's a lot of people who don't do much reading and unfortunately even more who fail to understand what is being said.
