"The bully of the Middle East" would more accurately be in reference to a neighbouring Middle East country that also starts with 'I', and Trump has been led by the nose in joining in on their regional conflict thereby turning it into a fully blown international issue.
It seems to me the height of hypocrisy hearing Netanyahu bleating about strikes being inflicted on Israeli hospitals when that is exactly what they have repeatedly been doing to Gaza over recent times. 'There are none so blind as those...' and the American war machine has now joined that approach.
