well the system ain't perfect...  

One could argue the King of England, being head of state, legitimises government, but I still prefer the power of the people

When any govt seems to be pandering to the alcohol indistry or big pharma or whatever, though you have to wonder if perhaps 'donations' to political parties should be abolished...
