There she goes, sky open
David Tennant, Jessica Hynes, Edan Hayhurst & Miley Lock as the daughter - brilliant.

We who are about to die - Amazon Prime, Roman bodice ripper. I really enjoy a good mindless costume drama, though I do prefer mine with starships and/or dragons...
This one though makes up for the lack with regular views of gorgeous naked male bums.

It is superb. And the follow up Better Call Saul is almost as good.

Breaking bad is one of my absolute favourites from American TV.
Another which is based on the original British series & every bit as good, is Shameless, now on three.

Breaking Bad was wonderful, we watched an episode per night until the end. I couldn't get to grips with Better Call Saul - I was really looking forward to watching it but just couldn't relate. I must have another try.

Watch it after Breaking Bad. It gives more context. But he is not a likeable character.
Ozark was another great watch. Bit heart stopping at times, but superb acting. And if you can find Tin Star it would be an excellent Winter binge watch. Edge of seat stuff and again, superb acting.

Not quite as funny as the original movies but still well worth a watch.

Youtube, Dr Roy Casagranda. Professor. Wow, learning stuff...
Did you know only three species have evolved menopause? Elephants, whales, and us. Why? The intergenerational transmission of wisdom is essential to survival over the long term. My feminist side wants you to ask the next question, lol...

Right now Te Matatini Festival streaming live on TV2. Impressive performances with tight choreography. It's pretty warm down here in Taranaki today and there won't be any air movement on stage at the Bowl of Brooklands venue. Got to be hard work for those performing.

Shameless second series is on Three on Thursday; its good to see it again after so long. And the Aussie comedy programme, Thank god you're here, also thursdys on 3,is worth seeing, they often have Kiwi comedians on as well.

TV reception interrupted by our building works so we're working our way through Red Dwarf seasons 1-12. The actions and appearance of Rimmer are a constant and disturbing reminder of David Seymour
