Wireless keyboard on Smart TV
#1
I use a wireless keyboard to control my LG Smart TV.
Works quite well for the main part.
However, when using YouTube, I can’t find a key which will do the back function.
I still have to use the factory remote for this command.
Would anyone know if there is a key or key combination that will do this?

Quote:The one thing that did surprise me was that some of the special multimedia keys worked. Specifically, the mute and volume up and down buttons worked perfectly. Also discovered the Escape key (Esc) works the same as the Back button on the Magic remote.

Does this work?
This world would be a perfect place if it wasn't for the people.

Unfortunately not for me.
My keyboard is a Adesso WKB-3000UB
Has multi-media keys, trackball, mouse keys and scroll wheel.

Those bring back memories ( some not so good) Wink

Used to have one of those keyboards myself, in the end gave up on it as modern equipment stopped working with it.

Some TV's have settings hidden deep to enable tasks, so you have to go looking, some don't.

In the End I got a Logitech K400Plus    https://www.logitech.com/en-nz/products/...07165.html

Works fine on our TV / Media center.  TV only Some of the time - depends on functions, but Media Center 100% of the time.

For the Media center I use a program called Jriver Media Center.  The VERY old Microsoft XP Media remote works a treat on it.  But not on the TV, again tech to old.
Upgrades = Old bugs replaced with new Bugs.

Yeah, I guess it's just too old.
