Runonce
#1
WinPatrol keeps capturing Runonce alerts, this one from Edge (and another from Onedrive)
What should I make of it?
I guess that if I didn't have WinPatrol istalled, programs like Edge would do stuff in behind the scenes and I'd be none the wiser?
What's known about Edge/Onedrive runonce?

Thanks

well I would imagine that is just normal behaviour when a program like edge detects an update is ready to be installed...

Runonce essentially does a single run for a program then automatically deletes the entry as against run that runs every startup/login etc details here of the difference

Winpatrol should have an option to permanently ignore it I would have thought...
This world would be a perfect place if it wasn't for the people.

Interesting... thanks.

Yes, there is a checkbox to turn reports off or at least there is for this 2nd event today...

Having something going on in behind the scenes in my PC is a bit like someone snooping around in the back yard. You want to know what they're doing there.
