PFAS

So much about this in the media in recent.
Even everyday items such as dental floss contain it.

In 100 years time, if anyone survives that long, they're going to look back in horror at our plastics use the same way we look back at asbestos, leaded petrol, and doctors being paid to promote cigarettes as healthy.

Yeah, just in the same way we look back at what was commonplace 100 years ago.
All those patent medicines that were on the market is a classic example, some have survived to this day, albeit with the dangerous ingredients removed such as coca-cola, dr pepper, etc.
Lanes emulsion existed into the 1980s and that stuff contained creosote of all things!

Looks Like Japan has come up with a solution to break down these chemicals, but the big question is how do you remove them out of the environment?

I remember Lane's Emulsion well; I rather liked it but never knew what its purpose was.   I seem to connect it with sticky malt and cod-liver oil.
