I'd like to see Russia behave like a civilised country; & immediately remove its troops from Ukraine then set about repairing the damage done.

But I suspect hell might freeze over first - Putin may know he's made a mistake but if he backs down now, he's going to lose face to a huge degree as well as support from his followers.
Perhaps one of his colleagues might remove him from office.

The biggest problem is the west are dribbling out all the weapons slowly, I guess they need time to prove they are capable, but its costing lives, I think their plan is to slowly wear down russia and cause maximum damage to their economy and regime.
It looks like the tide is turning with Ukraine forces slowly chipping away at the wagner forces in Bakhmut. Wait and see I guess.
