America takes another step backwards

And makes being homeless a crime.

 They claim that somehow, the law can enforce this without it being 'cruel & unusual punishment' which would be in violation of their constitution.

Ah yes, it makes so much sense; first remove jobs so as to create more poverty, then raise rents to enrich the already wealthy, then, when those pesky poor people dare to pitch tents & shelters because they can no longer afford to rent - then make being homeless a crime.

Sheer genius. All homeless will be in prison forced to work for virtually nothing; their children will no doubt be placed in orphanages or the present day equivalent - possibly abusive 'care homes'; a money making opportubnity for the already wealthy or the want to be wealthy.

We do something similar here by making building your own home so expensive and difficult.

Indeed & it works a treat. 

We may eventually see similar homeless camps here unless there's massive change fairly soon. Especially now that landlords can evict without cause. Dodgy
