Just got back from Coldplay

What an amazing show they put on last night!
Quite spectacular with lots of lasers, pyrotechnics and confetti cannons, etc.
2 more shows to go, tonight and tomorrow. 
We were lucky to avoid heavy rain and it held off for most of the show thankfully.

All the adverts are saying it was a good concert.

First time ive been to them, my friends went to their last show and had a similar experience.
They certainly dont cut corners when it comes to their shows, we were lucky with the weather too, the rain didnt persist and cleared before the show, but I believe the friday show was pretty wet.
We also had Pearl Jam the weekend prior which apparently was an epic show too, they had some kid in the crowd holding up a sign asking Eddie if he could get up and play the guitar with them, and he actually did let him up for the last song which was rockin in the free world by neil young and he absolutley rocked!
Im not sure if Pearl jam are known for this, but its nice to see this.

That must have made that kid's day!
Its always lovely when well known bands do stuff like this, & it must also generate lots of good feeling towards them, what a generous thing to do. The first time U2 came out here we went to their concert, & Bono lifted a kid onto the stage with them, not to play anything but just to be there & share what it was like.

If we could all share our love of music perhaps we'd have fewer wars; music breaks down barriers & forms bonds between people.
