Neil Young to Trump: "I'm Not Scared of You. Neither Are the Rest of Us"

It's not the least charm of a theory that it is refutable. The hundred-times-refuted theory of "free will" owes its persistence to this charm alone; some one is always appearing who feels himself strong enough to refute it - Friedrich Nietzsche

That takes guts; both he & Springsteen are really sticking their necks out. I hope they'll be OK, Trump tends to be spiteful & vindictive.

If I remember rightly, I think Neil Young's also a Scorpio.

Lots of folk are supporting Springsteen and Taylor. And, at long last more voices for Gaza speaking up the way many of us who are without that audience have been doing for such a long time.

Maybe that is part of the payback for been given that power, because give it we do. And it comes with the responsibility to be authentic, not just in the performance of their talent and skill. Just as it does for each of us in our lives. And Springsteen has always been authentic.

"And Springsteen has always been authentic" thoroughly so.

Agreed, these guys are rolling in the $$$ so don't give a shit how it affects everyone at the bottom.
Just wish these celebrities would keep politics out of their business.

I think earning a fortune by making people happy is probably the only way anyone with a conscience deserves to do it.

My other thought CT, is how do you think people become celebrities?

Because we create them.

I would say he is intentionally making himself a Trump target precisely because he does care about everyone at the bottom
This world would be a perfect place if it wasn't for the people.

Interesting how the voice of the right on here tries to use jealousy of the better off as a weapon, while disparaging any move to increase taxes on the better off, and idolising the more egregious examples of the rich...
