We will never leave this land

This what the Israelis are up against and they as well have just the same attitude which is why the conflict between the two warring factions has been going on for so long and will probably never end.

It's an insolvable problem I think.
It's not the least charm of a theory that it is refutable. The hundred-times-refuted theory of "free will" owes its persistence to this charm alone; some one is always appearing who feels himself strong enough to refute it - Friedrich Nietzsche

As I understand it, that is exactly the Israeli view. But I don't agree that the problem can't be solved.

IF the Israeli & the Palestinian leadership would both get the hell out of the way & let the peace groups from both sides sort out the mess, then progress could almost certainly be made.

It might eventually take an uprising from both peoples against their leaders, but it really shouldn't need to take that if the idiot boys in charge would just get the hell out of the way.
in order to be old & wise, you must first be young & stupid. (I'm still working on that.)
