I was just reminded of one of mine.
People being interviewed for the news/TV programme sitting or standing in front of what looks like a beautiful painting/sculpture/wall hanging/embroidered/photograph/collage/whatever, when you desperately want them to shut up & move over so you can see it properly.
Drives me up the wall every time.

TV news clips about musicians which show a few seconds of music then talk over the top of it.
Kim Hill starting an interview with a band by asking "So can any of you guys still get it up?"
Mike Hosking interrupting a mild-mannered and polite art critic by saying "Are you trying to tell me that Ralph Hotere is an important cultural figure in New Zealand?" Etc etc.

My Mum used to say that Mike Hosking always looks as if he just got out of rehab.

People saying 20 March or whatever month - surely it isn't that arduous to manage to say the 20th?? One more tiny syllable? Just too hard?
